I want to be like a sunflower; even on my darkest days, I will stand tall and find the sunlight

This is my voyage.

On June 2nd, 2020 I was diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma; the most aggressive type of brain cancer. I went from working full-time as an occupational therapist, to being a full-time cancer patient. Now, after having a life-altering brain surgery and discovering the results of my pathology, it has become my passion & drive to learn more about this type of cancer and to help raise awareness in hopes of finding the cure.

My voyage is just beginning but I’m ready to fight this battle and share what I am learning along the way. Please follow along with me and donate if possible!

Resources for you.

Navigating through the US healthcare system can be challenging. I have learned some short cuts with my brain tumor and I want to help other patients avoid some of the roadblocks they may face. If you are recently diagnosed with brain cancer, check out my resources section where I share some of the lessons I’ve learned along the way.
